Chung-Pai Chang

Distinguished Professor at Center for Space and Remote Sensing Research
National Central University, Taiwan

Professor Chang specializes in quantitative methods for investigating geological processes, focusing on deformations in orogenic systems. His research spans structural geology, geological remote sensing, neotectonics, and geohazard studies in Taiwan, the Indian Himalaya, the Tibetan plateau, and surrounding areas.

 Tang-Huang Lin

Distinguished Professor and Director at the Center for Space and Remote Sensing Research, National Central University, Taiwan

Professor Lin's expertise lies in remote sensing of aerosols partition, data assimilation of particulate matter pollution, simulation and forecast of air pollution, urbanization effects on heat islands, regional precipitation, and monsoon effects on typhoon rainfall potential. He utilizes Earth Observing System (EOS) Satellite Data in his research at the Environmental Remote Sensing Laboratory.

Chuen-Fa Ni

Distinguished Professor, Director for Graduate Institute of Applied Geology , Director of Center for Environmental Studies, National Central University, Taiwan

Professor Ni's research focuses on numerical modeling of flow and contaminant transport, stochastic approaches for uncertainty analyses, laboratory and field experiments for hydrogeological properties, seawater intrusion, reactive transport in coastal aquifers, land subsidence monitoring, and web platforms for groundwater modeling and data analysis.

Duong Du Bui

Director of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation at the National Center for Water Resources Planning and Investigation (NAWAPI), Vietnam

Having earned his Ph.D. in Bioenvironmental Systems Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University, Dr. Bui is a prominent scientist, educator, and policy planner with a focus on ensuring water security for sustainable development in Asia. Serving as the Director of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation at NAWAPI, under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) in Vietnam, Dr. Bui plays a vital role in shaping policies and initiatives related to water resources.

Nguyen Van Hieu

Director of Geoinformatics Research Center, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, Vietnam

Dr. Hieu received a PhD degree in Environmental Science (2019) from Hanoi National University and obtained an MSc degree in Remote Sensing Science and Technology (2010) from National Central University (Taiwan). Since 2010, he has led more than forty research projects. He is a competent expert in the application of GIS, remote sensing, and information technology to build information systems for fields such as the environment, natural resources, agroforestry, and natural disasters.

Ta-Chih Hsiao

Professor at Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering, National Taiwan University; Joint Appointment Associate Research Fellow, Academia Sinica

Holding a Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, Prof. Hsiao specializes in monitoring particulate matter pollution, emissions control technologies, nanoparticle production, aerosols, and particle measuring instrument development. His efforts have earned him accolades, including the Taiwan Ministry of Science and Technology Young Scholar Award and the Taiwan Aerosol Research Society's Autumn Forest Award.

Da-Wei Wu

Attending Physician, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, KMSH, Taiwan

Dr. Wu is an accomplished Attending Physician with extensive experience in the field of medicine. He holds an M.D. degree from Kaohsiung Medical University. As an Attending Physician in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine w, Dr. Wu has demonstrated expertise in various areas, with a particular focus on Tuberculosis (TB) and Pulmonary Diseases. He is a licensed member of both the Taiwan Society of Internal Medicine and the Taiwan Society of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
