We are delighted to announce that the 2024 AI on Environment Exposure and Health Impacts in South-East Asia will take place at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry in Vietnam, from March 25 to March 29, 2024.

Bringing together a diverse group of early to mid-career practitioners and researchers from Asia and the Pacific region, our interdisciplinary approach aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge, experience, and hands-on practices to conduct research on environment exposure -related disaster risks.

The 2024 Advanced Institute on Environmental Exposure and Health Impacts in South-East Asia is a transformative initiative aimed at addressing the critical challenges posed by environmental exposure and health impacts in the region.
The program delves into the complexities of environmental pollution, exploring its links to various health risks, including chronic diseases at regional and global levels. Given the diverse origins of pollutants and the limited understanding of their health effects, our initiative emphasizes the collection of detailed information and observations. This data is instrumental in mitigating the profound impacts of environmental pollution on public health and offers valuable insights for policymakers.

Eligibility Criteria:
The 2024 Advanced Institute on Environmental Exposure and Health Impacts in South-East Asia welcomes applications from various fields — professionals, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and academia specializing in environmental science and public health. Open to early to mid-career participants from South and South-East Asian countries, the program encourages collaboration to address regional health and environmental challenges.
Applicants are urged to bring specific issues or research ideas related to environment exposure, air and water pollution and public health.
The institute aims to foster collaboration among participants with diverse backgrounds and experiences to enrich the learning environment and facilitate impactful outcomes.
